Pécot & Company Architects was established by Kirby Pécot in 1989. Prior to this time, he was principal architect at a Lafayette-based firm since 1980 and has provided architectural services for the past 40 years.

Our mission is to provide clients with the product they expect. Our goal is to present a creative, well-designed project in budget and on time. We strongly believe that listening and understanding client needs is essential to good design. Our approach to design has no set solution, no single style or signature, but it responds to clients' program needs and project objectives. We feel that our architectural expertise, experience and desire ensure a successful project.

We feel proper architecture should respect the environment and provide Sustainable Design. We are sensitive to the conservation of natural resources and the selection of construction material, as well as the harvesting, processing, shipping, installation, longevity and maintenance of the products that define our buildings.
